How It All Began
Simone Abaron is an internationally-renowned formulation naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist & trichologist. Over her 15+ year career, she has developed iconic supplements for some of the world’s best brands, which continue to transform the health of their customers.
In 2013 Simone experienced a life-changing hair catastrophe at the hands of a hair stylist, leaving her with extreme hair damage and a less-than-fashionable pixie cut.
Determined to restore health & length to her hair, she applied her intimate knowledge of nutritional science, botanical medicine, biochemistry and trichology to formulating something that would fuel the process from within.
Today, Apotecari has helped thousands of men and women fall in love with their hair.

The name Apotecari was first coined by our founder Simone, paying homage to the apothecary of yesteryear which dispensed herbal drugs to their local communities. The term Apothecary was translated to Apotecari in Catalan (the language spoken in Barcelona, Catalonia/ Spain - Simone's home away from home).
Our name is pronounced in the same way as the word Apothecary, but with a hard "t" rather than "th".

When it comes time to replenish your supply, our award-winning, home-compostable ‘replenish pack’ pouches are designed to refill the glass bottles and reduce environmental impact.
We avoid unnecessarily secondary packaging wherever possible to minimise waste and our environmental footprint.
