Mini HAIR ATELIER Pancakes

These cute-as-a-button mini pancakes make for a satisfying breakfast or brunch. We've enhanced the batter with nutritious Hair Atelier for a delicious, healthy twist on a weekend classic.

Quick and oh-so-simple to whip up, these tiny pancakes are perfect to tip into a bowl and cover with berries, a spoonful of creamy yoghurt and a generous drizzle of maple syrup. Alternatively, they make a great work-day snack with some fruit on the side.

What you'll need: 

• ​2 tsp Apotecari's Hair Atelier
• 1 cup sifted plain flour
• ​1/2 tsp salt
• ​2 eggs, beaten
• ​1/2 cup water
• ​1/2 cup milk
• ​1 tbs melted butter

Method: 

​Add flour and salt to a bowl. Next combine the eggs with the milk and pour into the dry ingredients.

Mix all ingredients well, removing lumps with a whisk.

Add 2 tsp of Hair Atelier to contribute to protein, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Hair Atelier also adds a delicious flavour and sweetness to these pancakes.

Melt a small amount of butter in a hot fry pan and spoon tablespoons of batter into pan. Cook on each side until golden. These can be made as big or small as you like.  We have used a tablespoon to dollop mixture into the hot, buttered frying pan.

​To garnish:

​Fresh fruit, maple syrup & a dusting of Hair Atelier.
